QUALITY GROWS IN THE VINEYARDS
OF OUR GRAPE SUPPLIERS!
In the heart of Ehrenhausen, Erzherzog Johann combines tradition and modernity under one roof. The new building, finally completed in 2014, symbolizes a modern place of wine making and includes shop and event location.
Behind this historically valuable name lies the only winegrowers’; association in Styria, which now consists of around 250 grape producers from all Styrian wine-growing regions. Together, these partly very small farms cultivate an area of about 180 hectares of vineyards. This makes Archduke Johann Weine one of the most important wine producers in Styria.
„Faithful to the good old, but therefore no less receptive to the good new.“
In line with this statement of Archduke John, we strive to establish continuous changes and improvements in our company in order to continually contribute to maximum satisfaction of grape suppliers and customers. Individual objectives in all areas of the company increase responsiveness and performance.
Particularly during vinification, great importance is attached to care, accuracy and quality as well as environmental awareness. Our employees regularly take part in training courses and excursions, because further training is not only a concern for us, but a duty.
